Preparing
your Abstract
The Abstract is an important component of your submission. In addition to
serving as the primary document for the review process, the Abstract will also be included
on the HIMAA Web site Members Area. It will provide a detailed summary to members using
the site to help them determine if the project described is applicable to their needs
before they proceed to the longer report section.
Please
eliminate all identifiers (i.e. facility names, geographic
locations, names of coworkers, etc.) from the abstract and report sections of your
application.
Abstracts should not exceed 500 words and are required to
include the following information:
· Project Title
· Description of the aim or impetus for developing this
project
· Project goals or objectives
· Planning and implementation process
· Bulleted summary of Innovations identified
· Description of how the project was evaluated
· Description of positive outcomes. |

Preparing
the Innovation Report
The
Innovation Report should contain the following elements, in order:
· Abstract (please include the title of the project at the top of
the abstract)
· Report - the Innovation Report should follow the
Innovation Report Outline as detailed in the
section
entitled "Report Outline" (click
here).
Please
