Welcome

Invitation to Delegates

We have the pleasure of inviting you to attend the second IFHRO South East Asia Region conference (13th October 2009) and the 2009 HIMAA National Conference (14th - 16th October 2009). Both conferences will be held at the Sheraton Hotel, Perth, Western Australia.

IFHRO SEAR has invited presentations from its partner countries to speak on the theme of "Health Information Networks: learning from one another". The day will provide an overview and the lessons learnt in health information management and records management in the South East Asia region.

The theme of the 2009 HIMAA National Conference is Health Information Management: A Strategic Asset, with Keynote Speakers and papers addressing the Health Information Management profession's strategic contribution in the areas of Innovation, Leveraging Assets, Connecting the Business and Risk Management.

Whilst focusing on the health information management profession, the topics to be presented will also be of interest to all health professionals. The program will include plenary presentations, workshop sessions and trade exhibitions as well as stimulating social and networking activities; including a Welcome Reception at the Sheraton Hotel and a Conference Dinner at the Perth Zoo.

Plan now to join delegates from around Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia at these important events. We look forward to welcoming you to Perth.
