Angela Randall - President | |
|
Angela graduated from La Trobe University with a Master of Public Health degree, a Graduate Diploma of Education (Uni. of Melbourne), and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Record Administration). She is currently employed as a Health Information Consultant in early Parenting Centres in Melbourne, and consults in private practice. Angela also lectures at the University of Melbourne's School of Population Health and at TAFE. Angela is a member of IFHRO and of the Health Informatics Society of Australia, and holds Associate Fellowship status with the Australian Institute of Management. Angela is a frequent visitor to the Shin Heung University College in Seoul, South Korea in her role as Visiting Professor, Medical Records. |

Patricia (Trish) Ryan - Senior Vice President |
|
|
Patricia was awarded an Associate Diploma of Medical Record Administration from the Lincoln Institute of Health Science - Victoria. Patricia has been very active in her State (Victoria) Branch and the ACT since 1984 and is a valued member of the Board. |

Hazel LLoyd - Treasurer |
|
|
Hazel graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science, Medical Record Administration from Curtin University of Technology and holds Australian Quality Council certification in Quality Management, Business Excellence and Organisational Assessment. Hazel's various duties in the past have included both Treasurer and Secretary (WA Branch) as well as membership of a number of working parties. Hazel is currently employed as Continuous Improvement Coordinator at the Swan Kalamunda Health Service. |

Stefan Perkovic - Board Member | |
Graduated
in 1999 with Bachelor degree in Health Information Management from the
University of Sydney.
Stefan is a current active member of HIMAA, including immediate past president of the NSW Branch (2003-2005). Stefan represents the profession on various committees, including external Advisory Committee of the University of Sydney School of Health Information Management, Health Service Union, Health information Management Professional Vocation Committee (Chair), and NSW Health Privacy Reference Group. Stefan's previous positions include Senior Business Analyst, Electronic Medical Record Project, (South Western Sydney Area Health Service); and Medico Legal Manager (Liverpool Health Service). Stefan is currently employed as Director of Clinical Information Services at St George Hospital & Community Health Service (South Eastern Sydney Illawarra Area Health Service). |

Alisha Lucas - Board Member |
|
|
Alisha graduated with a Bachelor of Health
Science from Queensland University of Technology in 2000 and has
recently completed a Master in Business. Alisha joins the HIMAA board after serving as Queensland State President for two years. Alisha is currently working as the District Director, Information Management for the Logan-Beaudesert Health Service District in Queensland. |

Alexandra Toth - Board Member | |
|
Alexandra graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Record Administration) from La Trobe University in 1989 and has a Graduate Diploma Health Informatics from Monash University. Alex has been employed in a wide range of HIM positions in Victoria within hospitals (metropolitan and rural), community health and was also a lecturer in Health Information Management in the School of Public Health, Faculty of Health Sciences, La Trobe University. Alex is a past member of the HIMAA Education Committee. Alex is currently employed as the Director, Health Information Services for the Redcliffe-Caboolture Health Service District in Queensland. |

Louise Edmonds- Board Member | |
|
Louise graduated from
The University of Sydney's School of Health Information Management
with a Bachelor of Applied Science (MRA) in 1989 and has completed a
Masters of Business Administration through Manuka Institute of
Technology (Auckland NZ) and the Southern Cross University NSW (2004).
She is the current (ACT) HIMAA Branch Vice President and
is currently working with
ACTHealth as Senior Manager Information Management
Section. Louise has been employed in a range of
HIM positions in ACT, Queensland
and New Zealand within the hospital,
corporate health and commonwealth environments.
